GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A car crash has closed the right lane of Interstate 40 East, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT).
The crash occurred at Mile Marker 221 near Exit 221 for South Elm-Eugene Street.
The closure began at 5:51 p.m. and NCDOT expects for it to last until around 7:51 p.m. The expected impact on traffic in the area is high.
