CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Bryn Renner’s shoulder injury will end his career at UNC.
UNC confirmed on Tuesday Renner will undergo season-ending surery on his non-throwing shoulder on Wednesday.
Renner finishes his career at UNC third in passing yards with 8,221 and second in passing touchdowns, with 64.
Renner suffered a separated shoulder during the game against N.C. State. He left the game but later returned after the medical staff popped his shoulder back into place.
