MONTREAL — The United States has defeated No. 1 Germany 2-0 in a Women’s World Cup semifinal match on a penalty-kick goal from Carli Lloyd and a late strike from substitute Kelley O’Hara.
The U.S. will play the winner of England-Japan, which meet Wednesday.
The World Cup final is Sunday.
