More than 70 kids sign on to gather tennis balls at the Winston-Salem Open

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — It’s a huge week for tennis fans in the Triad. Some of the biggest names in tennis are in town for the Winston-Salem Open.

And when the tennis balls start flying, somebody’s got to get them.

There are more than 70 ball kids at this year’s open who are happy to do it.

FOX8’s resident tennis fanatics, Cindy Farmer and Tracy Clemons, wanted to know what it takes to do their job.
