AVONDALE, Ariz. — Kevin Harvick won the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday, charging to the front early and dominating the rest.

The Charlotte Observer reported that Harvick held off Dale Earnhardt Jr., in the final four laps for the win.

Brad Keselowski and Joe Logano finished third and fourth and Jeff Gordon came in for a late fifth place.

Harvick had the fastest car in practice and kept it rolling in the race, leading 224 of 312 laps.
