HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The 2013 Fall Games of the Special Olympics will be played in High Point and Skip Martin can't wait for the golf portion of the event.

Martin has dominated this event for the past 11 years.

Martin, 33, lives with his mom and when she can't take him to the course, he walks -- with his bag of clubs -- more than a mile to and from the Oak Hollow Golf Course so he can play the game he loves.

After his great run of nine straight state titles, Martin finished second the last two years, each time by just one stroke.

His goal is to win back that gold medal. He also has his sights set on the Special Olympics World Games in 2015 in Los Angeles.
