WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — No. 25 Duke beat Wake Forest in a 28-21 win Saturday in Winston-Salem.

The News & Observer reported that Duke’s fourth-quarter defense held stout and forced two turnovers as the Blue Devils prevailed.

Duke (9-2, 5-2 in the ACC) is one win against North Carolina away from the Coastal Division Title. It’s also the first time Duke has won nine games since 1941.

Duke quarterback Ross Cockrell had an interception of Wake Forest (4-7, 2-6) quarterback Tanner Price with under three minutes on the clock.
