He may be a little small for a college baseball player, but 12-year-old Eddie Papsun is sure to have a big impact on the Wake Forest team.

Eddie, who has a potentially life threatening condition known as Loeys-Dietz Syndrome or LDS, was officially added to the team yesterday.

This once in a lifetime opportunity came together through an organization called "Team Impact," a group that pairs kids suffering from serous illnesses, like Eddie, with their favorite college team.

The timing was perfect, as doctors recently told him he could no longer play sports.
