Some customers are outraged at Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups because their Christmas tree candy does not look enough like a Christmas tree.
Multiple news outlets have reported that several peanut butter fans have taken their outrage to social media, tweeting at the company.
One person tweeted to Reese’s, “Does this look like a Christmas tree to you??”
“I feel deceived,” tweeted another, who also posted a photo of the candy, which resembled more of a blob than a Christmas tree.
Reese’s tweeted back at the customer saying, “We apologize, as this is not the perfect experience we hope for our fans.”
Several people were also angry at Starbucks earlier this month because the company removed Christmas decorations from their annual holiday-themed coffee cups.
