ASHEBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The North Carolina Zoo is home to one of the largest baboon troops in the country, but it’s been a while since guests have been able to see them.
The baboons have been living behind the scenes while construction crews build them a new habitat.
In today’s Zoo Filez, Shannon Smith gives us an update on the construction and what the new habitat will look like when it’s complete.
