HIGH POINT, N.C. — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump spoke at High Point University Tuesday afternoon.

The event was held at the Millis Center on HPU’s campus.

“It’s a death wish,” Trump said, referring to Hillary Clinton wanting to allow “hundreds of thousands of people into this country from Syria and other places.”

"The reason I do manufacture things overseas -- I have to do this, there is no choice, because [other countries] have devalued their currency so much that our companies are out of business for the most part," Trump said, responding to a question about his own products being made in other countries.

"Well I think that my people more and more ... we're doing very well. [The Republicans] have come back in. That was a really vicious primary," Trump said, on bringing the party together.
