WEST VIRGINIA — A pizza hut worker in Kermit, West Virginia has been fired for allegedly urinating in the restaurant’s kitchen sink.

Someone posted video of the incident on YouTube. It appears to have come from some kind of surveillance camera.

Prosecutors say no food was involved, so the man cannot be charged with assault, but customers think he should pay.

“It’s disgusting. I think he needs to be put in jail for 30 days. People have to eat on the plates washed in that sink. It’s disgusting,” said one man.

“I’ve been there many times and I thought it was a clean place. It’s disgusting. The guy oughta be in jail,” said another.

In a statement, Pizza Hut said it does not tolerate violations of its operation standards.

The restaurant has been shut down.

The YouTube video shows a man working at a computer who then turns around walks a few feet and leans toward the kitchen sink.

When he’s finished, he runs the water for a very short time then returns to work.
