WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A wreck involving two tractor-trailers has shut down westbound Interstate 40 Business.
The road is shut down at Exit 10 (Old Greensboro Road).
Only minor injuries have been reported, according to Winston-Salem fire.
NCDOT recommends the following detour until the road reopens:
From I-40 BUS West, police are routing traffic off at Exit 10 onto Old Greensboro Road. Follow the road to US-158 and cross over US-158, staying on Old Greensboro Road. Continue to East 5th Street and turn left to re-access I-40 Bus West at Exit 7.
The road is not expected to reopen until midnight, according to the NCDOT.
