WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A woman is in serious condition after the truck she was riding in went airborne and she was ejected.

It happened at Cleveland Avenue and CE Gray Drive in Winston-Salem just before 9:30 last night.

The truck, a 2013 Toyota Tundra, was going down Cleveland Avenue close to where it becomes a dead-end.

The Tundra, driven by 35-year-old Jeremiah Dare, of Lexington, went through a tree line which is about 50 feet above U.S. 52.

The truck landed on a ramp after rolling over multiple times.

Traci Moorefield, 30, of Lexington, was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected.

It’s unknown if speed or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
