GREENSBORO, N.C. -- In this edition of Roy's Folks, FOX8's Roy Ackland introduces us to a wildlife rehabilitator and the baby deer she currently cares for.

Most fawns found by humans are not abandoned and should be left alone, as their mothers will sometimes leave them for up to two days.

Anyone who finds a fawn that they think may be in trouble is advised to call the Wildlife Care Hotline at (336) 697-4006.

Or, to find a wildlife rehabilitator in your area, visit NCWildlife.org.
