DURHAM, N.C. — A woman is in critical condition after trying to help a dog that was hit by a car in Durham.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Liberty Street near North Guthrie Avenue.
After the dog was hit, 47-year-old Jonathan Parker flagged down 29-year-old Stephanie Wilson who stopped to help him with the dog. That’s when all three were hit by an SUV.
