Woman assaulted, robbed at gunpoint in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A woman said she was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint by two men in Greensboro early Thursday morning.

The victim told police she had stopped her vehicle near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Dorothy Brown Street around midnight when she was approached by two unknown men.

The woman said one of the suspects showed a handgun and demanded money from her.

After stating that she did not have any money, the suspects assaulted the victim and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

The first suspect was described as a black male, 6’1” tall, with a high fade hair cut, wearing a black tee shirt with a graffiti style logo on the front and was armed with a handgun.

Police provided an incomplete description of the second suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
