GREENSBORO, N.C. — The fourth graders at Lindley Elementary School are finalists in a national video contest and could win $10,000 to help their school.

This class is part of the Energy WISE team which helps promote energy saving ways at the school.

So when teacher Lori Attias got an email about the contest with Scotties tissue … she knew her kids would be perfect.

Scotties set the subject as being “trees rock,” but Attias decided she wanted her class to go beyond the obvious so instead her students looked at the importance of trees throughout history.

They entered their video in the contest and are now finalists in the competition.

If you would like to help the students’ video win, you can vote until Feb. 14 at www.scottiestreesrock.com
