Flood warnings and watches up for our northwestern counties on Monday.

Ashe, Alleghany and Wilkes counties are under a Flood Warning until 1:15 p.m.  Use caution when driving to and from work, as roads will be slippery.

Surry County is also included in a Flood Watch that will be in effect until midnight.

Showers aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.  We have a very wet forecast through Wednesday and temperatures will stay in the mid- to upper-60’s.

Total rainfall for the week is going to be between 1″ and 1 1/2″ in the Piedmont and 2″ or more over the mountains and foothills.
