Warrants issued for Greensboro man accused of stabbing, injuring man

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Warrants have been issued for a Greensboro man accused of stabbing another man Sunday night.

Police are searching for 34-year-old Shakeema Barney who has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Police said they were called to 1901 Larkin Street about 7:30 p.m. Sunday in reference to a stabbing and found a 25-year-old man with minor puncture wounds.

The victim was taken to the hospital for injuries that are not life-threatening, according to police.
