Walnut Cove police chief resigns

STOKES COUNTY, N.C. — Walnut Cove police chief James Hill resigned Tuesday, which became effective immediately.

The Stokes News reported that Hill resigned because he wanted move on with his life.

Hill was appointed to the position in May 2008 after serving as interim police chief for a few months.
