MANSFIELD, Conn. -- A video of a drunk student physically and verbally abusing employees at the University of Conneticut has gone viral.

The video shows 19-year-old Luke Gatti, of New York, arguing with staff and refusing to leave the store without getting some mac and cheese, according to WTIC.

Gatti was charged with breach of peace and criminal trespass on Sunday at approximately 10 p.m.

Police said Gatti began arguing with employees after they refused to serve him because he was drinking alcohol in the market.

The video begins with an employee confronting Gatti about carrying an open container of alcohol into the store. Gatti then told the employee that he wouldn't leave until he got his bacon jalapeno mac and cheese.

Then Gatti can be seen yelling homophobic slurs at the employee and pushing him. A student who tried to intervene was also pushed.

Other employees were able to help them wrestle Gatti to the ground before police arrived.

As Gatti was led out by police, he spat at the employee.

“I was actually a couple spots behind the kid in the mac and cheese line,”UConn freshman Eric Elgartold WTIC. “I was actually also getting mac and cheese. So, he had a beer in his hand. They found the beer in his hand. They confiscated it. And he still wanted his mac and cheese, but obviously he didn’t get it.”

Gatti was previously charged with disorderly conduct in Massachusetts last September.

CAUTION: Language in the video may be considered offensive.
