TUCSON, Ariz. -- An Arizona police officer has been fired after a surveillance camera recorded him pulling a gun on a convenience store clerk while off-duty and apparently intoxicated.

Deputies with the Pima County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Kyle McCartin early Tuesday. Soon afterward, McCartin was fired by the Tucson Police Department.

Deputies say McCartin and another man were both wearing bullet-proof vests and appeared to be “very intoxicated” when they entered the store.

In the video, McCartin can be seen pulling out a handgun and pointing it at the clerk during an exchange.

McCartin is charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
