Video of police officer in the Carolinas playing football with kids goes viral

BENNETTSVILLE, S.C. — A video of a police officer playing football with some kids in South Carolina has gone viral.

Lorenzo Adams posted a video to Facebook last week that showed Bennettsville City Police Officer CJ Mullinax joining the kids for football.

The video’s uploader said he was driving through the area and spotted the officer playing football with the kids. So he pulled out his cellphone and started recording.

He later posted it to Facebook and has nearly 8 million views on Facebook. Adams wrote:

Cop in Bennettsville, South Carolina Caught on Video!!!!! Just driving by and witnessed this,,,, had to video Because of all the other videos out there,, please SHARE so people can know what kind of Cops we have in this town!!!!!

The officer spoke to WPDE, saying that he enjoyed being with the kids. People are praising the video for showing a positive side of police officers.
