CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. — A 14-year-old boy made a run for it inside a Christian boarding school — but was caught and assaulted by four school workers.
A shocking video captured all the action, which resulted in the employees being arrested and charged with assault by mob and assault.
WTVR reported that the images were taken inside the cafeteria and sanctuary hall at Abundant Life Academy in April.
In court Thursday morning, the four struck a deal with the Commonwealth’s Attorney and pleaded guilty to simple assault.
It all started when four teenagers escaped from the boarding school by stealing an ATV and taking it on a 28-mile drive. Deputies there detained the juveniles. Investigators said the boys told them about assault and abuse at the boarding school.
Timothy Jordan, Jovanny Rivera, Carey Honea and Liam Galligan all pled guilty to simple assault.
Investigators said their investigation is ongoing and more charges could be filed.
