Victims in Greensboro double shooting identified

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The two men injured in Thursday night’s double shooting in Greensboro have been identified.

Police responded to the area of 716 Marsh St., around 6:47 p.m. to a report of shots fired.

Dawayne Lamont Hill, 24, and Dante Rayshon Goins, 22, both of 1200 Orchard St., were found with multiple gunshot wounds.

Goins remains in critical condition, according to officials. Hill’s wound is considered non-life threatening. He remains hospitalized in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
