Man stabbed by a person asking for money

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Greensboro man was stabbed early Monday morning when he tried to run from a man asking for money.

Police say the 33-year-old victim reported that he was outside of his home on Cotswold Terrace around 4:20 a.m. when the suspect approached him and asked for money.

The victim turned to run and that’s when he was stabbed by the suspect.

The victim received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local medical facility for further treatment.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’9” tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black gloves. The suspect also had a gold tooth.
