Police begin homicide investigation after man shot, killed at motel on Landmark Center Boulevard in Greensboro


GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police began a homicide investigation on Tuesday after a man was shot on Landmark Center Boulevard in Greensboro and later died, according to police.

At about 12:32 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a report of shots fired at a Motel 6 on the 6000 block of Landmark Center Boulevard.

At the scene, officers found Ronald Benjamin Trower, 43, of Greensboro suffering from a gunshot wound. He later succumbed to his injuries.

No suspect information is available at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
