Victim hospitalized with life-threatening injuries in Greensboro shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A person was seriously injured in a shooting in Greensboro Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Phillips Avenue at 8:34 p.m. in reference to a shooting, according to a news release from the Greensboro Police Department.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.

There is no suspect information at this time.
