DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — One of the victims in a two-vehicle wreck that happened in Davidson County in May has died.

Laeton Tucker died Sunday from injuries sustained in the wreck.

The wreck happened on May 26 at 1:46 p.m. on Wallburg-High Point Road near the West Lexington Avenue Extension.

A white Chevrolet van, operated by Shana Grady, 36, of High Point, crossed the center line and struck a blue Dodge pickup truck, operated by Layton Tucker, 66, of High Point, head on.

Both drivers sustained life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Grady was charged with driving with a revoked license and crossing left of the center line.

Officials said Tucker was not wearing a seatbelt.
