DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — Police responded to an accident on northbound Interstate 85 where a vehicle wrecked off a bridge and down a steep embankment Thursday evening.
The accident happened near mile marker 88.
According to NCDOT, the left lane of northbound I-85 is currently closed.
No injuries were reported.
It is unclear if the accident was weather related.
