GREENSBORO, N.C. — A hit-and-run left water spewing from a broken fire hydrant in Greensboro.

Police report a vehicle hit a hydrant and a utility pole on West Gate City Boulevard, between South Josephine Boyd Street and Van Wert Street.

Officers blocked off the area as crews worked to repair the hydrant and the pole.
