MANASSAS, Va. — A northern Virginia woman is facing sentencing for using drywall to barricade her three young daughters into a room.

Christina Dawn Moore, 26, of Bristow, is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday in Prince William County. She pleaded guilty last fall to child abuse and neglect.

The three girls, including an 18-month-old, were found last March left alone in a filthy room barricaded with drywall. The oldest girl used mattresses to climb over the drywall and got a neighbor to help her sisters.

A neighbor found Moore and 35-year-old John Robey passed out, and defense lawyers said they were struggling at the time with a severe drug addiction.

Robey was sentenced in January to three years of probation and ordered to complete an intensive outpatient drug program.
