GREENSBORO, N.C. — One of the men injured in a shooting at a furniture store parking lot last week is having trouble remembering what happened, he said told the News & Record today.

“I don’t even know why I was shot,” said Marqus Jones, 25. “It’s just a big blur.”

Jones is one of three men shot in the parking lot behind American Furniture Warehouse about 4:20 p.m. on Friday, according to police.

Winston-Salem residents Jones, of East 23rd Street; Jareke Tayvon Jackson, 20, of Stokesdale Avenue; and Justin Randolph, 30, of Harding Street, were driving in Greensboro when they got into an argument, said Capt. Mike Richey with Greensboro police.
