WILMINGTON, N.C. – The CBS TV show “Under the Dome” is leaving North Carolina if it’s renewed for a fourth season.

WWAY reported that the science fiction television show plans to leave Wilmington and move to Utah.

Items from the program went on sale Thursday at Screen Gem Studio in Wilmington. The sale will reportedly continue until Saturday.

The items for sale include children’s toys, painting, household items, books, lamps, medical supplies and furniture.

The TV show is based on a Stephen King novel and focuses on a mysterious and invisible force field that descends on a small town, trapping the residents inside.

FOX’s hit show “Sleepy Hollow” announced earlier this year that it was leaving North Carolina for Atlanta after the demise of the North Carolina film tax credit program.
