WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Police said two women were hospitalized after a two vehicle car wreck Saturday afternoon at a Winston-Salem intersection.
Police said a 64-year-old woman driving a 2002 Chevrolet Tracker turned left from Petree Road onto Shattalon Drive around 11 a.m. but pulled into the oncoming lane of another driver.
Police said the driver hit an 84-year-old woman driving a 2002 Cadillac Deville headed north on Shattalon Drive.
Officials said they were both taken to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. The 64-year-old driver had life-threatening injuries and the 84-year-old driver had non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
