2 vehicles, 1 patrol car involved in 2 wrecks on Freeman Mill Road in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Three vehicles, including a Greensboro police patrol car, were involved in a two accidents in the same area on Freeman Mill Road in Greensboro Monday afternoon.

The accidents happened right before exit 79B. Officer M.S. David was out of his vehicle investigating an accident when Tamara Brown, 31, of Randleman, rear-ended his stopped patrol car.

Brown was charged with failure to reduce speed.

Brown was said to have minor injuries. No other injuries as a result of the two accidents were reported.

The two left lanes were closed one mile before I-74 at mile marker 79. All lanes have since reopened.

There is no information on injuries at this time.
