RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities said a teenager was killed and another injured in a hit-and-run in Raleigh early Saturday morning.
WTVD reported that the two 18-year-old girls were walking near the intersection of Hillsborough Street and Dixie Trail just before 12:45 a.m. when they were hit.
Police officials pronounced Natalie Chidlaw, of Cary deceased. Meghan Clark was taken to WakeMed with non-life threatening injuries. Clark is listed in good condition.
Police said they are possibly looking for a dark Volkswagen last seen leaving Hillsborough Street headed towards the State Fairgrounds.
