HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point police have arrested two men in connection with a string of robberies that occurred over the last four days.

Ikeem Brown, 21, of High Point has been charged with three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Rayquan Withers, 21, of High Point, has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.

Police say Brown was responsible for two robberies and one attempted robbery and Withers was involved with Brown on a robbery Friday morning.

Two of the robberies occurred at two different locations of the Red Dot Grocery in southwest High Point over a span of 36 hours.

In security video from the robberies at both stores the suspect can be seen wearing a “Jason” mask and a black hooded jacket with red stitching.

Investigators with High Point police were seen taking pictures of a black hooded jacket similar to the one seen in the video after a traffic stop this afternoon in High Point.

The owner of the Red Dot Grocery, Parvez Bhuiyan says he has to eat the loss from the robbery because insurance companies won’t write him a robbery loss policy in the high crime area.

He wonders how he will stay in business if he can’t find employees willing to work with the threat of robberies looming and that’s why he wanted to release the video, hoping to help make sure the robbery suspects were caught.
