Two sought after car stolen from Chapel Hill

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Authorities are looking for two men in connection to a car that was stolen from Chapel Hill earlier this week and found in Mebane.

Officials said the 2008 Lexus was stolen outside UNC Hospitals’ entrance on UNC Chapel Hill’s campus Sunday.

Authorities said the car was later found and recovered near the Wal-Mart store in Mebane.

The person in the left photo allegedly stole the car and the person in the right photo allegedly picked the suspect up from the Mebane location in a blue Saturn or Toyota.

Both suspects are described as being around six feet tall with average builds.
