FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.– A domestic altercation between two active-duty members of the U.S. Army left one dead and another injured, according to WTVD.

Officers told WTVD that police responded to a call in the 700 block of Duck court at 2:52 a.m. Saturday. Police found Kevin Moseby, 28, dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

30-year-old Duane Brown, Jr., of Sanford is the primary suspect in the shooting and was arrested at Cape Fear Valley Hospital while seeking medical treatment, according to WTVD.

Authorities told WTVD that Brown is the ex-boyfriend of Moseby’s ex-wife, and that the couple were trying to patch the relationship up at the time of the shooting.

Brown has been charged with first degree murder and first degree robbery.
