YADKINVILLE, N.C. — Deputies say two people have been charged in connection with a burglary and assault in Yadkin County.

According to the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office, 26-year-old Jordan Ryan Garrett and 18-year-old Lane Adams Garrett were arrested on April 27 after deputies responded to a hang-up 911 call from a home in Jonesville.

When deputies arrived at the home, they say they found “several key pieces of evidence” that led to the suspects’ arrests.

Deputies allege the suspects were armed when they entered the home and demanded money.  The suspects then assaulted the victims before running away, deputies said.

The suspects are each charged with armed robbery, first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, larceny of a firearm, felony larceny, interference with 911 and injury to real property.

They are being held in the Yadkin County Jail under $115,000 secured bonds.
