BURLINGTON, N.C. — Two people were arrested and another is sought after police said cocaine, other drugs and a gun were found in a home on Monday.
Reuben Kirby, 28, and Mary Vaughn, 43, were arrested after a search warrant was executed at a home on Crater Street Monday afternoon, police said.
Police said they are looking for Walter King Jr. on a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon.
Several complaints were received regarding alleged drug sales at the home, police said.
Officers found 5.9 grams of crack cocaine, 27 pills of a Schedule IV controlled substance, a handgun and $702 in cash, police said.
Kirby was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, manufacturing cocaine and possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule IV controlled substance. He was also served on a previous warrant, police said.
Vaughn was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.
Kirby was placed in the Alamance County Jail under a $35,500 secured bond, while Vaughn was placed under a $10,000 secured bond.
