Two arrested for attempted robbery in restaurant bathroom

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two people have been charged with trying to take a man’s wallet in the bathroom of a McDonald’s on Monday night.

William Miller and Ronnie Majors were arrested after the reported incident at 2347 Randleman Road around 9:05 p.m.

The victim told police he was approached by two men in the bathroom who tried to take his wallet. However, the suspects did not succeed, police said.

The victim left the store before calling 911, but officers found the suspects still at the McDonald’s, police said.

Both were charged with attempted felony larceny from a person, and Miller was also charged with resisting an officer.
