Three suspects sought in Greensboro jewelry store robbery

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police responded to a robbery at a jewelry store on Tuesday evening.

Officers were dispatched to the Schiffman’s Jewelers at 811 Friendly Center Road in reference to a robbery shortly after 6:30 p.m.

Officers were told three men entered the store, produced a handgun and demanded property. The suspects were able to obtain an undisclosed amount of property and fled the scene on foot.

No injuries were reported.

The first suspect was described as a black male, wearing a light colored coat, dark pants, dark shoes and a dark toboggan. The second suspect was described as a black male wearing a black coat and dark pants. The third suspect was a black male, 6 foot 3 inches to 6 foot 5 inches tall, 220 to 250 pounds, with a light complexion and a goatee.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
