Three killed in North Carolina neighborhood shooting

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — A North Carolina man has been charged with murder after authorities said he shot and killed three people during a dispute with neighbors.

WNCN reported that Jonathan Frederick Sander, 52, of Wake Forest, faces charges after the shooting was reported Friday night in a Wake Forest neighborhood.

The victims have been identified as Elaine Toby Mazzella, 76, of Raleigh, Sandy Mazzella, 47, of Wake Forest and Stephenie Ann Mazzella, 43, of Wake Forest.

Arriving officers found the victim’s bodies and the suspect was charged with murder.

Officers were in the area earlier that day and the shooting appears to be the result of an ongoing dispute, according to officials.
