Thomasville native Wil Myers hit his first major league home run Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium.

Myers took CC Sabathia deep for a go-ahead grand slam in the top of the sixth inning.

Myers, 22, is an outfielder for the Tampa Bay Rays. He attended Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point.
