Thomasville finalist for ‘All-America City’ award

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — Next week, 31 community members from Thomasville will travel to Denver, Colorado where they pitch the city as one of 20 finalists for the “All-America City Award”, given by the National Civic League.

The city’s application is based on three projects that have made a difference in the community including the Memorial Day Parade, Project Divine Interruption and Children at Play.

The League will meet from June 14–16, when they will make their final decision.
