According to police, the teens are believed to be responsible for breaking into:

  • a second vehicle on Lexington Avenue on May 21, 2013
  • Rumfelt’s Collectibles on Fisher Ferry Street on June 10, 2013

Police say surveillance video and a tip from a resident helped them identify the suspects.

“Once the suspects were identified, we were able to gather additional information that linked Freeman and King to the break-ins dating back to August 2012,” Detective Chet Jarrell said.

Freeman and King are both charged with four counts of felony breaking and entering, four counts of felony larceny, five counts of felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, a single count of felony larceny of a motor vehicle and four counts of misdemeanor larceny.

The suspects are being held in the Davidson County Jail under $10,000 secured bonds. They have court appearances set for Sept. 25.
