A teenager in Utah found out that she’s allergic to water!
There have only been about 50 documented cases of this – but doctors say it is possible.
In an interview with People Magazine, 17-year-old Alexandra Allen from Mapleton, Utah explained how she can shower and bathe twice a week but has to pretty much avoid contact with water outside of that.
She cut her hair to make it easier to maintain and keeps a vegetarian diet – and can drink water just fine, but if her skin is exposed to it for too long she breaks out badly.
She once dreamed of a career in Marine Biology but has since switched focus to a drier career goal of a lawyer or economist.
